South Caldwell High School

Mr Wyant was born and raised in Catawba County to a family of educators. This is his fourth year as part of the administration team at South Caldwell. Prior to his transition to Caldwell County, Mr Wyant was a teacher, coach, and teacher assistant in Catawba County Schools for nine years. He served as a history teacher and coach at Bunker Hill and Bandys High School, an online facilitator and coach at Saint Stephens High, an EC teacher assistant at Compass Academy and Startown Elementary, and as a coach at Fred T Foard High School.

Mr Wyant graduated from Maiden High School, received his Associate of Science from Catawba Valley Community College (2010), his Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State (2012), and his Masters in Educational Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte (2022). 

Mr Wyant is a father to his daughter Rhylee who is going into her junior year of high school.

He enjoys traveling, trying to play golf, and loves to eat bbq, tacos, and sub sandwiches.
